Sales Associate Part Time

We’ve hired one person already and need two more to round out the team!

We are seeking friendly, energetic additions to join Gustare’s team of sales associates in part-time positions of up to 30 hours/week (hourly wage commensurate with experience).

This year, we celebrate our 13th anniversary in our busy, year-round retail shop located on historic Main Street. This position is part-time with flexible hours to suit your schedule in the seasons ahead. Previous retail experience is always preferred but not required. We will provide the necessary training in Gustare traditions and product line to instill confidence for you to provide a positive customer experience every time.

We pride ourselves on greeting every visiting guest, introducing them to our products, answering questions and helping with their selections. In addition, we label, fill, cork and seal bottles of extra virgin olive oil and a variety of vinegars daily. There are numerous behind-the-scenes tasks as well so, basically, there’s a task for everyone!

• Possesses honesty and integrity
•  Strong listener with an ability to communicate well
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Working knowledge of POS systems

Requirements:

• Awareness of weekly schedule and the need to be punctual
• Respectful of coworkers and customers
• Ability to multitask in busy times
• Ability to stand for periods of time
• Work day shifts to include one weekend shift and some holidays; evenings optional
